HOUMA - SEWING CENTER
A&A Sewing Center has provided all of your sewing and quilting needs in the greater Houma area for over 30 years. We offer sewing classes, quilting classes, and sewing machine repair to help Louisiana craft. Staffed by fellow sewing and quilting enthusiasts and owned and operated by experienced stitchers, the sewing center is able to serve and supply any level of sewist with the expertise and supplies needed to create that special project.
We are a proud certified retailer for Janome and Baby Lock, the premier sewing machines in the industry. To help you make full use of your new sewing machine, we provide free lessons with each purchase. In addition to support your further growth as a sewist, we offer sewing classes and quilting classes where fellow sewing enthusiasts come together to share to share skills, ideas, stories, and comradery to help you grow your craft.
A quick trip from Houma, our flagship sewing center is in Broussard. Our sewing center showroom is stocked with quilting fabrics, notions and patterns, machine embroidery supplies, and fashion fabrics like denim, linen, knits, and beaded laces to meet every sewist’s needs. Adjacent to the retail store is our 1500 sq ft classroom where we host our sewing classes and quilting classes. One of our heartfelt missions is to keep the tradition of needle crafting alive while also helping current sewists understand the possibilities and opportunities new technology provide.
