Simple Mitered Corner Napkins

ALL beginners are encouraged to attend! Learn easy methods for this glamorous hemmed napkin.

You will need:

  • sewing machine with straight stitch, size 12-14 universal needle, bobbins, typical sewing notions like marking pen, pins, etc.
  • (3) half-yard cuts of fabric (use cotton or linen) and PREWASH/DRY before class
  • matching thread (all purpose or cotton)
  • portable iron & ironing surface *optional
  • Hot Hemmer tool or seam gauge
  • rotary cutter w/ fresh blade & mat *some mats will be available in classroom
  • Note: If you want to make lots of napkins that match or coordinate with one another, one 1/2 yard cut makes 2 napkins. The kit offered has enough fabric for 6 napkins.

I used linen for these samples, but regular quilting cotton works well too!
