Join me in store once a month for a hands on demo of a new skill building project with provided kit followed by an open classroom workday with your serger. All brands, models, and outside projects are welcome!
We will start our day with a project demo and skills lecture then I will turn you loose to work at your pace.
Sept 13 - Welcome And Project 1 - Anytime table runner
Use your only serger to make an applique or pierced table runner.
Oct 11 - Project 2 -Ruffled Deco Tea Towel
There are 2 variations for the Ruffled Tea Towel. Have fun using different fabrics for pop of color in any kitchen.
Nov 15- Project 3 - Zippered Bottle Wrap
This cute and functional bottle wrap was originally found in the book Simple, Fun and Quickly done by Terry Atkinson. We have used the Baby Lock serger to add a bit interest to the piecing of the strips together along with putting in the zipper and of course making the tie is quickly done when you use what will sure to be one of your favorite attachments. So grab yourself a beverage and before it gets to warm or cold your wrap will be complete.
Dec 13 - Make up day / Open Classroom

Students please bring:
- 4-8 thread serger, power cord, any accessories
- 4 spools of serger thread
- 2 new serger needles (check your machine for the correct type!)
- thread snips or scissors
- machine instructions and/or manual (print or PDF)
