Confident Beginner Quilt Class (Midpoint)
Midpoint by Cotton and Joy Patterns is a unique and modern quilt. In this class we will be making the Mini (19" x 19") or the Baby size (45"x45"). Pattern also comes in Throw size (58"x68") and Twin (70"x 88"). This is my go to baby quilt for the new mothers who want something a little more modern. You will need basic sewing skills for this class. It is not a difficult pattern, but some of the cutting directions can be confusing, so I will be here to guide you through.
You will need:
- Midpoint pattern by Cotton and Joy Patterns
- Fabric for the quilt size of your choice ( I am more than happy to help you pick fabric for your quilt,, just come into the shop before the class date)
- A sewing machine, in working order, that you are comfortable with.
- New needle size 80/12 universal or microtex
- Thread that matches your fabric with a few wound bobbins. Unless working with very dark colors, off white or beige is usually fine.
- Basic Sewing Notions (rotary cutter, seam ripper, pins, scissors, etc.)
- We have cutting mats and irons, but if you would like to bring your own, feel free!
