Heirloom By Machine
It takes just a little fabric and just a little time to create this adorable dress by machine for sizes 12mo - 4T! I did use some specialty Janome 9mm techniques but I will teach you to make this with ANY sewing machine! :)
You'll need:
- 3/4 yd solid quilting cotton
- matching thread
- contrasting thread
- 1/8 yd fusible interfacing of your choice
- rotary cutter, scissors, marking pen, straight pins, and other common sewing notions
- all-purpose foot
- satin stitch foot
- blind hem foot
The pattern is included, I'll make sure everyone gets a copy!
Want to modify a pattern's bodice using a wing needle?
In addition to your sewing machine and supplies, please bring:
- the pattern you want to modify
[My sample is the Daisy Dress from Oh Me Oh My Sewing online] - light fusible interfacing for behind your stitching
- removable marking pencil or chalk
- thread to match OR contrast, try both!
